Below is a list of satisfied clients that we have
designed sites for. Read the descriptions of the site and you will
see how we have provided them with a whole lot more than just a simple
website.
Pensacola
Big Game Fishing Club
The Pensacola
Big Game Fishing Club site is our latest creation. We designed
this site from the ground up to replace the clubs outdated
site and we included lots of features to keep the members
happy. First, this site features a user forum where members
and visitors alike can post fishing reports, offer used
equipment for sale and so on. We integrated this forum
into the home page of pbgfc.com so it would be easy to
see what’s happening on the forum without having
to go there. We created a manageable members section which
allows members to log in to their profile and update their
name, boats name, boat photo, e-mail address and password.
The boat photos are uploaded to the server, resized, optimized
and a thumbnail is also created…. All on the server!
There are also different levels of access to the members
section and some members have rights to one or all of the
administration functions of the site such as maintaining
the news, maintaining members and maintaining the meetings.
There is also a fishing reports section where visitors
can post reports. This section allows visitors to search
the reports for keywords or by who posted them. We also
created a link section that contains links to other sites
such as weather sites and fishing related sites. This section
keeps track of outgoing traffic and ranks the sites by
that traffic. We could go on and on about all the features
this site has but you should really go to it and check
it out yourself! We assure you that you will be blown away! This
site is using MySQL and Microsoft SQL database servers.
This
website features several client accessible areas allowing
them to keep the site updated
with new photos and new horses that they have available
for sale. The easy to use administration section
can be used with very little computer knowledge. There
is also a news section that can be controlled from the
administration
section. The
photo gallery is easy to use and automatically resizes
and creates
a thumbnail when the image is uploaded with our easy upload
script. There is also a notification letter feature
that allows the client to send out an e-mail to those who
have wished to be notified when new horses are added to
the site. This site is accessible using two different
domain names and we use a custom script to change keywords
and page titles based on the URL that the site is using. This
allows you to target different traffic without having to
host separate sites. Pensacola Web Designs did all
the graphics (including logo development) and web coding
for Aubrey Hill. We have also created several ads
used in print for Aubrey Hill.
This
website is completely database driven and has several nice
features including an easy to use admin section. First
is the banners that rotate when the pages are browsed. These
banners are tracked to show how many times they are clicked
and viewed. This works well for tracking links to
other sites or links to products within your own website. Another
nice feature of this site is the Forum which allows members
to chat back and forth. Pensacola Web Designs did
all the graphics (including logo development) and web coding
for X-10 Ideas.
Reefers Aquatics
is another database driven website that features an easy
to use administration
section
for site control. A Forum was recently added to Reefers
site to give hobbyist a place to gather and share ideas. This
site features a news section, a used equipment section
and also a tips section that is easy controlled in the
admin
section. Pensacola Web Designs did all the graphics
work and web coding for Reefers Aquatics.
Distraction
Charters is an example of how easy it is for an average
skilled computer user
to maintain their site. This client wanted a site
for his charter business and turned to Pensacola Web Designs
for some answers to his questions. After
we told him about dynamic website design and how easy it
would be for him to maintain the site, he wanted one. This
client can change his rates, upload photos and make changes
to the F.A.Q. section through the easy to use backend. Best
of all is that there are no additional expenses because
he can make the changes himself! This site is accessible
using three different domain names and we use a custom
script to change keywords and page titles based on the
URL that
the site is using.
All Pro Sound's setup is a work of
art for Pensacola Web Designs. We first created a
MySQL database for the e-commerce system to reside on
and then
we develped
the shopping cart from the ground up. This site is
hosted at All Pro Sound so we did some intragration with
the companies point of sale software allowing the website
prices to be updated when they are changed in the accounting
software. We also intrigrated the database with the
UPS and Fedex shipping servers to allow for easy tracking
of orders. Trying to explain all that is going on
with this site would take forever because of all the features
it offers. Pensacola Web Designs did all the graphics
work and web coding for All Pro Sound.
Georges Marine Electronics contacted
us and wanted to build a site to show their products online. They wanted something
that they could easily maintain and we gave them just that. The
administration section is easy to use and a complete video
tuturial is always there incase they get stuck. Georges
Marine Electronics
didn't want a full e-commerce "click to buy" site because
they still
believe
in one on one customer service and wanted people to call
if they wanted to buy an item. Within a few months,
the site was packed with products and the phones started
ringing off the hook. I was asked to remove the 800
number because the amount of calls were interfering with
local business! Georges Marine Electronics usually
appears on the first page of every search engine!
When we are
not designing web sites, we are out fishing and this is
our site for the boat. It’s nothing special really
but does have some nice photos of fish on it. This site
is usually the last to get updated or worked on so don’t
let it be too much of an impression of our quality of work.
If does feature a few nice functions including a section
where people can add their own links. It also has a GPS
number section that we have not finished. This section
allows visitors to rate the GPS number using a rating system
that we built. This site uses MySQL databases and we set
the entire server system up for this site. It uses both
Linux and Microsoft servers and is more of a testing platform
for us that anything.
This site was
designed to offer people a place to go to search for charter
boats that meet their requirements. It really just looks
that way though because it doesn’t actually search
a database. The purpose is to direct them to a booking
agency that will personally find them the best boat for
their needs. When they search for a boat, they are taken
to a page that tells them that boats were found meeting
their requirements and it ask them to enter their information
into a form. This information is entered into database
which is checked via a web based back end system every
night by the site owner. He can choose to reply to them
using the interface which logs all communication or he
can call them and click on a checkbox that says “Called”.
If they book the trip, he can mark booked. This gives the
site owner a great database of anyone who has ever requested
a trip and those who actually booked a trip. This site
uses Access as the database. Pensacola Web Designs did
all the graphics and logo for Bama Boat Bookers.
This site serves
two purposes. First, it allows visitors to upload their
photos to the server where it resizes them and optimizes
them for the web. It then gives them a URL code to use
to post on their favorite fishing or hunting forums. This
system makes it super easy for these forum users to post
photos of their fishing and hunting trips and it has become
very popular throughout the world. The second feature is
that is allows visitors to create their own online photo
galleries where they can have the same easy to use upload
system and it allows them to add a story or details about
each photo. This option was just added in December of 2003
and already over 200 people have created online galleries.
This site uses MySQL as the database and is also a development
site that we use to test new technologies on.
